Pakistan launches biggest ever military exercise (Azm-e-Nau) at India border

Pakistan launch its largest ever army exercise on Saturday, involving 50,000 military, to guide them to get ready for the danger of a conformist war with India in the Cholistan desert all along the country’s eastern border.The Azm-e-Nau (New Resolve)-3 exercises ongoing with the display of “dispersal techniques” by troop in a “battle-like situation.”
The exercise is the conclusion of a year-long preparation course initiate in light of army chief Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani’s order to view 2009-10 as the “year of training.”
Regarding 50,000 troop and air force elements will contribute in the war-game that will go on till May 13.
To supply troops the experience of a battlefield, soldiers have been separated into Blue Land and Fox Land, with the latter in lieu of Pakistan’s challenger.
A heavy anti-tank brigade of Blue Land confirmed the spreading technique in the Cholistan desert. Troops also verified the capability of armored staff carrier.
Behind units, including tanks, infantry, arms, anti-aircraft units, engineers and signals, are taking part in the exercise.
The train is the finale of a course of war games, debate and fruition of a concept of conflict that is fully approachable to a wide array of rising pressure facing Pakistan.
Army officials said before the launch of the man oeuvres that the exercise is meant at training troops for a conformist war along the eastern border with India.
The Pakistan Air Force’s ongoing High Mark 2010 exercise will be fully included with the army war-game.
Azm-e-Nau 3 will be Pakistan’s biggest army exercise since the Zarb-e-Momin of 1989.
